BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — SpaceX, Blue Origin, and a few other companies have signed deals with the U.S. military to launch cargo in rockets.

The U.S. has invested $5 billion to $10 billion into a program called “Rocket Cargo.”

The military is hoping to find a way to get weapons, supplies, and even people from one country to another in just minutes.

It’s unclear if these launches would be from Florida’s Space Coast or another launch site.
