Two men arrested in fatal Christmas Eve shooting, Palm Bay police said

PALM BAY, Fla. — Palm Bay police arrest two men in connection with the shooting death of 33-year-old Tyler McCoullough.

McCoullough was killed during the early morning of Christmas Eve.

Police said on Dec. 24, 2020, officers responded to the area of Forest Knoll Drive and Tree Ridge Lane in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been shot multiple times. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

On Friday, detectives with the Major Case Unit identified the two alleged shooters and obtained arrest warrants for both individuals. On Saturday, members of the Palm Bay Crime Suppression Unit, Special Investigations Unit, and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office GAMEOVER Task Force tracked them down and arrested both individuals.

According to police, 17-year-old Hunter Oswiecinski and 33-year-old Toby Gamble have both been charged with 1st-degree premeditated murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
