TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Titusville Police make arrest in hit and run accident
Titusville Police have arrested a man in connection with a hit and run crash that occurred on Sept. 22, near the intersection of Wager Avenue and Union Street.
The crash happened around 8:00 p.m.
Police arrested 25-year-old Galvin Lemazia and charged him with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon as well as other charges.
According to police the suspect ran over the victim and fled southbound on Wager Avenue.

The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect’s car, a 2002 white Hyundai Sonata, was captured on surveillance video, which ultimately led investigators to identify and arrest the suspect.
Friday evening, after a standoff that lasted several hours, Titusville Police SWAT team entered the suspect’s residence on Warren Court and took him into custody.
Ware is currently being held in Brevard County Jail without bond.
The victim remains hospitalized in critical condition.
