BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Rep. Randy Fine (R-Palm Bay) and his family have contracted COVID-19, he announced on social media Wednesday evening.
The news comes just a few days after his wife Wendy tested positive for the coronavirus.

“I just tested positive for COVID-19, as did both our sons,” he wrote on Facebook. “This follows Wendy’s positive test on Monday. We all feel under the weather right now, but nothing that would raise alarm bells if it weren’t “COVID.” Obviously things could change in the days ahead. I will update tomorrow; for now, it’s another shock to have internalize. At least the good news is that four of us can stop hiding from each other.”
After also tweeting the news, Democratic Rep. Shevrin Jones replied, “Call me if you need me. Support, prayers, advice, etc. I’m here, brother!”
Fine responded, “Thanks, brother. I may do that. Right now being nervous is the biggest (symptom).”
