The planned launch for 1:04 a.m. Wednesday will be NASA’s third attempt to send Artemis I around the moon.

The uncrewed mission is testing a new rocket and spacecraft designed to send astronauts further from the Earth since the 1970s, with the end of the Apollo program.

The last two launch attempts were scrubbed due to technical issues with the rocket.

Crews recently checked on Artemis 1 following the impact from Nicole in Central Florida and found the rocket weathered the storm without major issues.
