NASA selects crew for Starliner spacecraft’s test mission to International Space Station

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. — NASA has announced which astronauts will take part in the test flight of Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft.

Astronauts Suni Williams and Barry “Butch” Willmore are set to fly aboard that spacecraft in a test mission to the International Space Station.

They will live and work aboard the ISS for about two weeks.

Boeing is trying to prove that the Starliner can safely be used in operational missions.

The test flight should happen later this year.
