TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Titusville police arrested a man in connection with the shooting death of a Titusville woman on Saturday.
Police said Rod Patrick Swim, 32, of Titusville, was charged with second-degree murder.

On Saturday, Police responded to the 4000 block of Coquina Avenue at 1:22 p.m. after receiving a 911 call regarding a homicide.
According to police, the suspect shot the victim multiple times and then dialed 911 to report his actions.

When police arrived they located the suspect outside of the residence and took him into custody without incident.
Police said the victim was located inside the residence with an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one else in the home was injured.
Swim was booked into the Brevard County Jail without bond.
