WATCH: SpaceX successfully launches another batch of Starlink satellites from Space Coast

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceX successfully launched another batch of Starlink satellites Wednesday morning.

A Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 4:28 a.m., carrying 60 satellites into orbit.

The goal of Starlink is to create a network that will help provide internet services to those who are not yet connected, and to provide reliable and affordable internet across the globe, the company said.

The total number of Starlink satellites launched to date is 1,385.

The first phase of 1,500 satellites is almost complete.
