Gunman at large after Titusville man shot, killed early Saturday, police say

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Police in Titusville are searching for whoever shot and killed a man early Saturday morning.

Officers said they were called to a home on North Dixie Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting.

A man was found on the property with a gunshot wound and taken to a hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries, police said.

Police said an unknown suspect or suspects fled the area and are still at large.

No description of the gunman or other details were released.

Officers said this is still an active investigation.

A reward for $5,000 is being offered through Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS for information that helps to lead to an arrest.
