BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A child died Friday after a boating accident, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said.
FWC said the accident happened in the Indian River area around 10:30 a.m.

Investigators said the child and an adult were ejected into the water after their personal watercraft collided with a boat.
FWC said the child was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead.

FWC said they are continuing to investigate the incident.
