Noel was gunned down inside of a Melbourne sports bar one week ago.

Family and friends came together Sunday evening for a candlelight vigil.

Samantha Noel said her brother Alain went to the Off the Traxx bar a week ago, and was expecting it to be a good night — but Alain never came home.

Melbourne police said they have not made any arrests yet.

Officers told Channel 9 last week that they are combing through hours of surveillance video from inside the bar, trying to pin down a person of interest in the case.

The family said Noel was a businessman who was out that night trying to relax.

The family’s attorney, Daniel Martinez, said they believe Off the Traxx was negligent by allowing someone with a gun into the establishment.

In a statement just a few days ago, Off the Traxx offered condolences to the Noel family.

The business also said the safety and well-being of its patrons and employees was its first priority and it was cooperating with authorities.
