NASA, SpaceX’s Crew-2 mission: Launch time, how to watch live

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — Four astronauts are preparing to lift off from the Space Coast on Friday as part of the Crew-2 mission to the International Space Station.

The launch was originally scheduled for Thursday but it was postponed due to “unfavorable weather conditions.”

NASA astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Akihiko Hoshide and ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Thomas Pesquet will board the Crew Dragon Endeavour spacecraft.

The launch will be the second operational SpaceX Crew Dragon flight to the International Space Station as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.

NASA and SpaceX are targeting 5:49 a.m. Friday for the launch.
