In June, Channel 9 reported the company plans on sending people to space on their state-of-the-art balloon.
“Titusville has played a significant role in Florida’s aerospace history, and Space Perspective represents a new era of commercial space exploration, adding to that space narrative. Space Florida is pleased to welcome Space Perspective to the region,” officials said.

The company said commercial flights are set to begin in late 2024, with more than 500 tickets sold to date.
