Brevard Zoo to release 2 rescued sea turtles Wednesday in Cocoa Beach

COCOA BEACH, Fla. — Anyone visiting the Cocoa Beach area Wednesday morning can stop by the coast to witness a special event.

The Brevard Zoo plans to release two rescued and rehabilitated sea turtles into the ocean.

The sea turtles’ release will happen around 10 a.m. at Lori Wilson Park.

The turtles named “Phyllis” and “Debbi” were being treated at the zoo for months and are now ready to be released.
