Brevard Zoo nominated as one of the best zoos in North America

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Brevard Zoo has been nominated as one of the best zoos in North America.

The nominations is part of USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice awards. Zoo officials said a panel of experts worked with the editorial team to choose the nominees and the winners will be determined by popular vote.

The top 10 winners of each category will be announced on March 17.

Last year, the Brevard Zoo took fourth place overall, up from sixth place in 2021 and fifth place in 2020.
