“We had a good description of the vehicle,” said Officer Matt Demmon. “This morning we saw the vehicle again, made several attempts to stop that vehicle. The vehicle fled from officers at a very high rate of speed at some point, triple and quadruple the speed limit.”

The driver is a 16-year-old who is also a suspect in another case.

At Astronaut High School earlier this week, witnesses reported seeing a former student flashing a gun from inside of a car before driving away.

Police believe the 16-year-old flashed the high-powered sub-machine gun at the school before driving off.

“It’s scary that people can get their hands on stuff like that and we don’t know,” said Zack Dugowson, an, area worker.
