Brevard County school bus driver injured in crash with 12 students on board

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A Brevard County school bus driver was injured Friday after crash involving a car in Palm Bay.

Brevard County Public Schools said the bus was headed to Riverdale Country Day School with 12 students on board at the time of the crash. The school district said none of the students were injured, but that the bus driver was transported to the hospital.

Footage of the crash showed a Scion near the bus with front-end damage.

The school district said school officials were helping the students involved and that their parents had been notified.

The crash happened 6 miles from the school near the intersection of Dolphin Street and Deauville Avenue in Palm Bay.
