BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — All employees at Brevard County Public Schools are set to receive a $1,000 bonus on top of the money that Gov. Ron DeSantis already promised to educators.
The district made the announcement on Friday.

Officials said the one-time recognition payment to all school employees will be in recognition of their hard work during this past school year.
The bonuses will be paid for with district cash.

Previously, DeSantis allocated money in Florida’s budget for teachers and principals only.
