BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for a murder that occurred in Unincorporated Cocoa back in January.
According to deputies, 26-year-old Kendall Britt was arrested on Friday for the murder of Anthony Greenwood.

On Jan. 18 deputies responded to a residence on Uranus Drive around 9:18 a.m. in response to a 911 call in which the caller reported that a person had been shot inside the residence.
When deputies arrived they found Greenwood who was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation led deputies to determine that the shooting occurred as retaliation for a prior incident where Greenwood battered an associate of Britt, deputies said.

According to deputies, a warrant for Britt for first degree premeditated murder was served on Friday, and he is being held in the Brevard County Jail on a “no bond” status.
