Brevard County to begin offering COVID-19 vaccine for kids on Monday

Orange County schools to offer COVID-19 vaccines for children this week Central Florida is starting to see the rollout process of the COVID-19 vaccine for young children.

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Brevard County Department of Health will begin offering COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 5 to 11.

FDOH-Brevard said it will begin offering the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-approved Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines starting Monday.

The vaccine will be available at its Viera clinic at 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for those ages 5 and up will also be available at many health care clinics and pharmacy locations in Brevard.

You can visit www.vaccines.gov to find the best location for you.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The vaccine will be available on a walk-in basis through FDOH-Brevard per the following schedule:

- Viera Clinic, 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, FL 32940: Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

- Melbourne Clinic, 601 East University Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901: Fridays only from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

- Titusville Clinic, 611 N Singleton Ave, Titusville, FL 32796: Fridays only from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
