Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a body that was discovered in the Banana River, east of Morningside Drive in Merritt Island.
The body was discovered by a boater around 5:30 p.m.
The Homicide and Crime Scene units are conducting interviews and collecting evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the death, the sheriff’s office said.
