BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Actor Tom Cruise is set to bring some star power to the Space Coast.
October 2021 is the planned launch date for the mission that will send the Hollywood star to the International Space Station to shoot a movie.

Cruise, director Doug Liman and perhaps another actor will launch in a Crew Dragon Capsule on board a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket headed to the International Space Station for what will be the first movie shot in space.
Space Florida’s Dale Ketcham said the project is another big step in the process of commercializing space flight.
