BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A Brevard County-based nonprofit is headed to Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Laura to help provide clean water to those in need.
Air Mobile Ministries has already provided water purifiers to people in 47 countries. Now Joe Hurston is headed to Louisiana.
Hurston, who is from Baton Rouge, will also deliver prepackaged meals and tarps to storm victims.

Hurston said just one of the water purifiers can provide 1,000 people a day with clean drinking water, and he wants to deliver them to the places where they are needed most.
“We’re going to be going in there, we’re going to be working together, we’re going to be praying to God together that God will take this terrible thing that happened and turn it for the good. Amen,” he said.
