“Coronavirus

“We wanted to be proactive. When we heard what was happening in Italy, over in Spain … the shortage of supplies in New York. We knew we had to be proactive,” said business development manager Martin Camaj said. “That’s why we spent the time making sure we could develop these face masks ready to go as soon as possible.”

The company is 3D printing its own frames and thumb screws for the face shields and is crowd sourcing the money for the materials to be able to produce 500 face shields per week.

Aeon Laser is also raising funds to obtain both N95 and surgical masks overseas for use in Brevard County.
