The Tourism Development Tax Citizen Advisory Board is made up of members of government, hospitality and Chamber of Commerce. Nobody on the team is actually eligible for TDT money. That way, they remain unbiased.
In the past, the TDT reserves has been used for the convention center, tourism promotion, art museums and professional sports facilities.

TDT member Harold Mills said, while undecided at this point, on what exactly that should be, he’s looking forward to the team figuring it out.
“When you have $300 million coming into our community every year and you want to know that investment, every citizen should understand that investment and how we prioritize that is an important factor,” Mills said.
