Blue Angels flyover Florida to thank first responders battling COVID-19

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Blue Angels took flight across Florida on Friday.

The Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, based out of Pensacola, is flying over cities across the U.S. in support of first responders battling the coronavirus pandemic. On Friday, they were scheduled to fly over Jacksonville between 11:40 a.m. and noon, and Miami between 1 and 1:25 p.m.

While no flyovers were scheduled in Central Florida, the direct path from Jacksonville to Miami took them over Central Florida or just off the coast between those times.
