Big deal: Still-new Seminole County apartments sell for $90M

A still-new apartment community in Seminole County sold last week for $90 million, instantly making it the top sale in 2023 for the suburban Orlando county and among the highest trades this year in the Orlando metro.

Seminole County records show DTR MF Owner LLC, a subsidiary of New York-based Journey Capital Real Estate Partners, bought the 342-unit Alta Cypress property in Longwood.

The seller of the property was Alta Cypress LLC, an entity related to the property’s developer, Atlanta-based Wood Partners.
