Bags Inc. to cut jobs at Disney after end of contract

Bags Inc. will cut jobs at several Walt Disney World Resort hotels after the end of a contract for valet services.

The company — owned by Metropolis Technologies Inc. — announced it would cut roughly 246 positions across at least 10 Disney resorts where it offers valet services, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act letter filed with the state.

The move does not affect the company’s other business in the region.
