ORLANDO, Fla. — On your mark, get set, school time!

A local organization partnered with supermarkets and other nonprofit organizations to give away school supplies to Hispanic families throughout Central Florida.
The Florida Blue Hispanic Federation will host its school supply giveaway during the last week of July and the first week of August.
The organization said they hope to give back to the Hispanic communities across Central Florida.

Walmart, Bravo, and Florida Blue are part of the initiative.
Hispanic Federation staff will give each child free backpacks if they come with an adult.
Here are the dates and places of the back-to-school giveaway:
- July 22 -- Jesus of Nazareth Church at 9 a.m.
- July 26 -- Bravo Supermarket 4108 W. Vine St. at 4 p.m.
- July 28 -- Bravo Supermarket 4065 W. Oak Ridge Road at 4 p.m.
- July 29 -- First Baptist Church 3000 S John Young Parkway at 3 p.m.
- Aug. 5 -- Florida Blue 385 Cypress Gardens Blvd at 10 a.m.
- Aug. 5 -- Florida Blue 638 E. Highway 50 at 10 a.m.

Families are encouraged to show up early, as supplies will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Besides the backpacks, event organizers said there will be more freebies for the school season.
The Florida Blue Hispanic Federation said they will continue to help Hispanic families, empowering them in areas of education, immigration, and health.
