MELBOURNE, Fla. — Two nonstop flights are coming to Central Florida.

Avelo Airlines will fly to New Haven, Connecticut and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina in late June.
The Melbourne-Orlando International Airport will welcome the new flights starting this summer.

One-way fares for the twice-weekly flights will start at $49 for Connecticut and $29 for North Carolina.
Airport and tourist officials said the new routes would be popular.

The company said it is the only airline offering nonstop flights between the Space Coast and these cities.
Travelers can fly from Tweed-New Haven Airport on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting June 21.

The Raleigh-Durham International Airport will begin offering flights on Mondays and Fridays starting June 23.
According to a news release, Avelo has completed over 15,000 flights since it opened in April 2021.
