Fast-casual chain Chipotle Mexican Grill may have plans for a drive-thru restaurant in Apopka.

A 2,415-square-foot restaurant building with a drive through is proposed on a 0.9-acre piece of vacant land with no address on W. Orange Blossom Trail, per city of Apopka documents. Some documents included with the plans such as a traffic analysis cite the name of the Newport Beach, California-based restaurant chain.
Gas station company RaceTrac is listed as the owner on Orange County documents, but Delray Beach-based MCM Acquisitions is listed as owner on the Apopka application. No deed had been posted to county records yet and MCM declined to comment.
