VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Antibody testing is underway this week at Volusia County Fairgrounds.
On Monday, 500 tests were conducted. On Tuesday, another 600 were administered. Each test is conducted by drawing a vial of blood.
The process can take about an hour from start to finish.

Family Health Source doctors at the site said the test is about 99% accurate compared to the finger-prick test, which is about 80% accurate and could trigger false positives from other viruses such as the common cold.
While the test will determine if you have the coronavirus, it’s unknown if it means you’re immune, or how long that immunity may last.
About 700 tests will be administered on Thursday.
