1 dead, 3 injured in crash involving bus on State Road 417 in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A deadly crash involving a bus shutdown State Road 417 for hours early Tuesday.

The crash happened just before 6 a.m. near mile marker 6 in Orange County.

Troopers said the crash involved a bus and Chevy Tahoe.

The Tahoe had become disabled in the right lane of southbound State Road 417.

Troopers said a man was pushing the Tahoe in the right lane when the front of a tour bus struck the back of the Tahoe and the man pushing it.

After the crash, the Tahoe was pushed forward and struck the guardrail.

The man died at the scene. Two children and a woman were taken to a hospital. They are all in stable condition.

There were no passengers on the bus.

The Florida Highway Patrol said all southbound lanes were shut down at John Young Parkway. The lanes reopened just before 8:45 a.m.
