The city of Orlando staff on Feb. 8 recommended the approval of a site plan for AdventHealth’s proposed project at the former Holy Land Experience.
Holy Land Experience Ministries Inc. -- an entity related to Tustin, California-based theme park operator and landowner Trinity Broadcasting Network -- sold the site last summer for $32 million to AdventHealth.
The Altamonte Springs-based nonprofit health system has proposed a four-story, 90,450-square-foot medical office building and freestanding emergency department with a helipad on the 14.2-acre site at 4655 Vineland Road in Orlando’s Millenia area as a first phase.

The second phase would include a five-story, 250,100-square-foot hospital and a possible parking garage.
