3 people involved in small plane crash at Orlando Sanford International Airport, officials say

SANFORD, Fla. — 8:15 p.m. Update:

Airport officials said the crash Tuesday evening involved two single-engine aircraft from a local training facility.

According to an update from the Orlando Sanford International Airport, one aircraft landed short and collided with an unoccupied, parked aircraft.

Three people were involved in the crash, but no one was seriously injured.

7:27 p.m. Update:

Officials with the Orlando Sanford International Airport said they are aware of an incident between two small aircraft at the facility.

Airport authorities said there are no serious injuries at this time.

Local agencies are assisting the airport as they investigate.
