JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — At a news conference in Duval County Thursday morning, Gov. Ron DeSantis addressed the topic of COVID-19 mandates.
DeSantis was joined by Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo.

The governor made it clear that the state would not allow future COVID-19 mandates to be imposed at schools, in the workforce, or at businesses.
Culhane’s Irish Pub and Restaurant Southside in Jacksonville was the backdrop for DeSantis’ event.
