ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — 911 calls are revealing more about a shooting outside a Walmart in Orange County that left a 19-year-old accused diaper thief dead.

Another customer confronted and shot Arthur Adams in February and is now facing charges.

The calls reveal witnesses on scene didn't even know anyone had been shot.

"Two guys ran out of the store with their carts full of stuff. The security loss prevention was running them down and then just started shooting,” said a caller.

The shooter wasn't a store employee.

Investigators said the gunman was customer Lonnie Leonard, 51. People at the scene didn't even seem to know anyone had been shot.

"Did somebody get shot?” asked the 911 dispatcher.

"No, everybody's fine," said the caller.

"Who are you talking to? Who just told you that?" asked the dispatcher.

“A store manager,” the caller said.

Another caller said he spoke to the gunman.

“Nobody seems to be injured right now, but the gentlemen that opened fire is still here,” said the caller. “He said he has a concealed permit. I don’t know.”

Leonard did not have a permit.

He's facing a charge for carrying a concealed firearm, along with charges of aggravated battery and manslaughter with a firearm.

Minutes after the initial calls, a wounded Adams showed up at a Citgo gas station down the street.

Adams' autopsy revealed, he had been shot in the back.

Leonard remains in jail and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning on the charges.
