9 Family brightens children’s day at Make ‘m Smile event

ORLANDO, Fla. — 9 Family Connection came out for a celebration for children on Saturday.

Local organization, Nathaniel’s Hope hosted the 21st annual Make ‘m Smile event at Lake Eola in Orlando.

The event is a large birthday party celebrating children with special needs and disabilities, which Nathaniel’s Hope calls the VIPs.

Meteorologist George Waldenberger was also an emcee.

9 Family has partnered for the annual community festival for many years.

Families enjoyed activities around the lake, including games, prizes, animals, bounce houses, art and food.
