The 8th annual ‘Elf Rappel’ at AdventHealth for Children is just in time for the holidays

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orlando first responders participate in the 8th annual ‘Elf Rappel’ at AdventHealth for Children.

Santa Claus and his elves drop in from the rooftops to visit patients.

The Children experienced the joy of Christmas with help from the Orlando Fire Department, Orange County Fire Rescue, and Orlando Police Department.

The annual “Elf Rappel” event is an eight-year tradition that brings festive cheer to children and families staying at the hospital this holiday season.

Dressed as elves from Santa’s workshop, first responders from Orange County and the City of Orlando spent the morning rappelling from the hospital’s roof to wave to patients.
