ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two more nursing homes in Orange County have seen a surge in COVID-19 cases recently, according to the health department.
The Orange County Health Department is monitoring Guardian Care, which has 40 positive residents, 13 of whom are hospitalized and one has died. In addition, 34 staff members have also tested positive for COVID-19.
The health department is also monitoring Terra Vista with 33 positive residents right now, 10 of whom are hospitalized and one has died. About 26 staff members have also tested positive.

Five confirmed deaths have been linked to the Ocoee Health Care Center, which has been the focus of an outbreak investigation.
Some people said they were upset to hear the Department of Health was reporting zero deaths last week, because they told us they had loved ones who died from COVID-19 there.
