2 men injured in Seminole County shooting

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Two men were injured Monday after a shooting in Seminole County.

Deputies said the shooting happened around 12:20 p.m. on Gilbert Street in the Bookertown area of unincorporated Sanford.

Deputies said one man was transported to a nearby hospital, and the other drove himself to the hospital for treatment.

Investigators said the severity of their injuries is unknown.

Deputies said their preliminary investigation indicates the shooting wasn’t random.
