It happened when a vehicle was heading eastbound on I-4 in the center lane. When the driver attempted to move from the center lane to the left lane, they hit the side of another vehicle before striking a guardrail and overturning, FHP said. The passenger, an unidentified male, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

After the initial collision, three separate vehicles collided as they tried to avoid the person laying in the roadway, FHP said. That crash resulted in minor injuries, FHP said.
