ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — One person was hospitalized after a house caught fire in Orange County early Monday morning.

Firefighters said they responded to a fire at a home on Cortez Drive in Pine Hills just after 6 a.m.
One person was taken to Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center. Their condition is not known.

Orange County Fire Rescue said the Red Cross was notified for six adults and one pet.
Crews stayed at the scene through 7:30 a.m.
