According to court documents, police were called to a home in Apopka on November 11 for a report of a disturbance.
There, officers spoke to two witnesses to whom the victim disclosed details of the abuse, according to a report.
One of the witnesses showed the officers video of the victim describing the suspects’ actions, the report says.

The victim repeated some of the claims for an investigator with the Department of Children and Families, and at that point, the child was removed from Keene’s custody.
When questioned by police, Keene denied any knowledge of the allegations and claimed she’d never witnessed any physical or sexual abuse of the victim.
Based on the witness statements and an additional follow-up forensic interview of the victim, detectives determined they had cause to charge both Pupo and Keene with capital sexual battery on a child under the age of 12.
