CDC: Adults with Down syndrome, developmental disabilities should be on vaccine priority list

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said adults with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities should be included on the COVID-19 vaccine priority list.

However, families across the state said that’s not happening, and no one can tell them why.

Data collected by the CDC shows those with Down syndrome are ten times at greater risk for the coronavirus.

And if they get it, are often three times more likely to die.
