Join WRDQ 27 Community Connection for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides events throughout Central Florida during April. Great Strides is the Foundation’s largest fundraising event. This cause brings national awareness to the chronic disease that affects about 30,000 children and adults in the United States alone.
In 2011, about $38 million was raised to support CF programs, and their mission to find the cure. Come out to the Great Strides Walks all around Central Florida so we can help improve this disease just by the simple act of walking.

You can GET INVOLVED, and form a team of you own to walk for the cure. The festivities include a healthy 5 kilometer (3.1 miles) walk, Kids’ Corner activities, food, and more.
