ORLANDO, Fla. — Governor Ron DeSantis made a stop in Orlando to announce the installation of over 70 electric charging stations in Orlando.
The governor was joined by Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Noah Valenstein for the 12:45 p.m. briefing from the Turkey Lake Service Plaza on Florida’s Turnpike.
According to Channel 9′s Christopher Heath, DeSantis announced 74 Tesla charging stations would be created along the Turnpike.

The briefing comes after the state reported over 4,000 COVID-19 related deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Orange County has the highest amount of coronavirus cases in Central Florida with 15,595 reported infected from the virus.
