ORLANDO, Fla. — The next time you stop for gas, you might also be able to pick up some medical marijuana.

Circle K just announced it will partner with Green Thumb to open dispensaries adjacent to 10 of its convenience stores in Florida.
Green Thumb, which owns Rise Dispensaries, will brand the dispensaries as Rise Express and plans to open them next year.

Customers who have a medical marijuana card will be able to buy cannabis products, including flower, prerolls, gummies and vapes.
Green Thumb, which is headquartered in Chicago, said the stores’ products will feature marijuana grown from the company’s new 28-acre cultivation facility in Ocala that will open by the end of this year.

The company currently has stores in Bonita Springs, Deerfield Beach, Hallandale Beach, Kendall, Oviedo, Pinellas Park and West Palm Beach. It also has an existing cultivation and processing facility in Homestead.
The Florida Department of Health said that more than 700,000 residents have medical marijuana cards.
