Amber Alert: 2 missing North Florida children found safely

LAKE CITY, Fla. — Update:

The children have been found safe, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Thursday afternoon.

Previous story:

An Amber Alert was issued for two children who were last seen in North Florida.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Jaxson Evans, 4, and Lucy Evans, 2, were last seen Wednesday in the 200 block of SW Birch Place in Lake City.

Investigators said they may be with David Evans, 24, and Sydni Jones, 23.

Officials said they may be traveling in a silver Dodge Stratus, with Florida tag number IS08VN.

Anyone who sees them is asked to call 911.
