CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — At least he lifted the seat.
A Florida man was bitten in the arm by a 4-foot snake when he lifted the toilet seat at his apartment early Sunday morning, the Sun-Sentinel reported.
A 52-year-old man opened the seat of his toilet and found a ball python, which bit him. (On the arm, not on the ... well, you know.) https://t.co/LWISLa8ncI pic.twitter.com/9mapSEZfjH

Baltazar Jimeno, 52, of Coral Springs, told police that when he went to use the bathroom in his apartment, he lifted the toilet seat and a ball python python "rose out of the toilet and bit him in his arm," according to a police report.
The snake is nonvenomous, and Jimeno was treated by paramedics, WPLG reported.
The snake did not belong to Jimeno, and it is unclear how the reptile got into the toilet, Coral Springs police spokesman Chris Swinson told the Sun-Sentinel.
The Coral Springs Humane Unit took the snake to a veterinarian, Swinson told the newspaper.
